As an Executive Career Coach, Evelyn has worked with a wide range of professionals, from individual contributors to mid-level managers, and has helped them navigate through challenging career transitions, such as reductions in force (RIFs). She also provides career management support and leadership development training to MBA students attending some of the best universities in the country – Harvard, Yale, Penn, Northwestern, Duke, Columbia, and Stanford just to name a few. Working in partnership with her clients, Evelyn crystalizes clients’ short & long-term goals and develops a customized plan to streamline their job search. Finally, she coaches clients on how to master other key search techniques so they stand out, get the offer and move forward in achieving their dream career.

Evelyn Maultsby
An accomplished Human Resources Executive, Evelyn Maultsby-Bynum has worked in multiple industries with leaders in Fortune 50 companies, city government, large not-for-profit organizations, and top MBA schools in the capacity of individual career coaching, performance/talent management, and organizational development. When it was time, she decided to combine her experiences and exposure to multiple industries and launch The Maultsby Way, LLC. There, she continues to share her knowledge and expertise in career management by coaching professionals on an individual basis.
During her time in Chicago, Evelyn was part of the executive team that spearheaded the largest, most ambitious redevelopment effort of public housing in U. S. History; the redeveloping of the entire public housing stock in Chicago (aka: The Plan For Transformation). In her capacity as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Chicago Housing Authority, she redesigned and implemented their performance management process that tied agency-wide metrics. Prior to that, she worked in Human Resources at G.E. Capital, CNA Insurance and the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago.
While raising two children with her husband, she took on specialized HR leadership roles within PNC Bank, Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and at Tepper Graduate School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.
Over the years, Evelyn has enjoyed giving back to her community by serving on a variety of different boards. Most recently she was a board member with the Washington Area Women’s Foundation and the Latino Student Fund in Washington, DC
Evelyn graduated with honors upon receiving a Masters of Human Resources from Loyola University. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications.
